Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of TableRise, operated by My Private Chef Limited, New Zealand (“we”). By creating an account or using TableRise you agree to them.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Give accurate business information, especially anything that appears on quotes and invoices.

Your content and your clients

• You own the records you put into TableRise. We use them only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.
• You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store your clients' details and for how you communicate with them.
• TableRise prepares drafts and documents; you decide what to send. Check quotes, invoices and tax amounts before sending them.

Tax and invoices

TableRise calculates amounts from the rates and settings you enter. It does not give tax advice. You are responsible for charging the correct tax and meeting the invoicing rules where you work.

Subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe, and renew until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• We will give notice before changing the price of your plan.

Acceptable use

Don't use TableRise to send spam, break the law, infringe others' rights, or try to access other accounts or disrupt the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep TableRise available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable. We may improve or change features over time and will tell you about significant changes.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those apply; if you use TableRise for business purposes, you agree the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.

Ending your account

You can stop using TableRise at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. After closure we delete your records as described in the privacy policy.

Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
